Samsung has announced its new Samsung Galaxy A8 smartphone in China. Pricing and availability details are unknown. It features a 5.7 inch full HD Super AMOLED display. It has full metal uni-body design similar to other smartphones in A series. It has just 5.8 mm thickness.
Samsung Galaxy A8 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 2 GB RAM and will come in 16 GB or 32 GB storage models. It microSD card slot to expand storage up to 128 GB. The memory expansion slot is shared with the second SIM card slot. So, you cannot get dual SIM or expandable storage at the same time.
It features a 16 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens. It also features fingerprint sensor. It offers 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity. It is packed with 3050 mAh battery.
