Micromax has launched a budget 3G smartphone Micromax Bolt S301 in India for Rs 2899. It features a 3.5 inch display and runs on Android4.4.2 Kitkat. Company also claims that the OS is upgradable to Lollipop. But Micromax has a history of not pushing upgrade to its smartphones.
Micromax Bolt S301 is powered by a 1GHz processor with 512 MB RAM. It has 4 GB internals storage which is expandable up to 16 GB via microSD card. It has a 1.3 megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera. It offers 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and aGPS connectivity. It is packed with 1200 mAh battery.
This smartphone also comes preloaded with Quikr, Snapdeal, and Scandid apps.
