Intex iRist smartwatchIntex has officially launched its Android powered iRist smartwatch at the MWC Shanghai. It comes with 3G SIM card slot to support 3G and voice calling. Intex claims that this is the fist Android powered smartwatch by an Indian company. It comes in Black, Orange and Pink colors. It is is priced at just Rs. 11,999.

Intex iRist features a 1.56 inch OLED display with Sapphire glass protection. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 SoC with 512 MB RAM. It comes with 4 GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. It features a 5 megapixel rear camera with HD video recording. It comes with 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity.

It is packed with 600mAh battery that claims to offer up to 240 minutes talk time and up to 200h standby.

It will go on sale in August via eBay. Company is also offering a bluetooth headset with the smartwatch.
