We already have a like button on messenger to send thumbs up in one click. Now, Facebook is rolling out the similar kind of Like button in desktop chat.
Now, when you open a chat box, you will see the like icon just after the smiley icon. Clicking on this will instantly send a like in chat. So, you can quickly send it in place of OK.
This is not available to all users. It may be a testing or a feature rolling out gradually. Most of the users are still seeing this chat box.
