Call Recording was a much requested feature by Windows Phone users. Now, it seems like Microsoft is finally adding Call recording in its upcoming Windows 10 for mobile. Build 10149 confirmed that call recording feature will be there in Windows 10 Mobile.
In Windows Phone 8.1, users wanted to record calls but it was not possible to record both conversations of a call due to hardware and software restrictions.
Windows Central found a Recorded Calls folder in File Explorer app. This folder was found in main device with Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, Ringtones, and Videos folders. So, it suggests that call recording feature will also be there.
There is also a Voice Recorder app that have permission to access “Recorded calls” folder. It means, this app can be used to record calls. We can say that Microsoft is looking to add this feature natively to Windows 10 Mobile.
With Windows 10 OS, Microsoft wants to bring a OS that has everything its users want. So, it is trying to add all requested feature and also borrowed popular features of other operating system. Next Windows version will play an important role in the growth of Windows Phone devices.
