Intel has quietly launched a new Android app “Remote Keyboard.” This app lets you use your smartphone as keyboard and trackpad of your PC. You also need to download a companion software in PC to connect the smartphone with PC.

To use this app with PC, you need to connect your smartphone and PC both with same wifi network. App will automatically detect the PC. Then, you will be able to use onscreen keyboard and trackpad. Moving your fingers in the empty space will control the cursor. In trackpad, single tap to left-click and tap with two fingers to right-click and. swipe your finger on the scroll bar to scroll.

Good thing is that app supports both portrait and landscape mode.

With hassle-free setup and quick connectivity, Intel Remote Keyboard app seems a very good option for mini PCs which comes in very small portable form. If you use this app, you will not need to buy a separate wireless keyboard and mouse. Not only with mini PCs, you can also use it with your laptop.
