Twitter is now rolling out new search results page to all web users around the world. This new search results interface offers cleaner look with filters at the top. Company started testing this page back in April with small amount of users.
This new search results page aims to offer better search experience with ability to filter and sort results. You can see all results or just see matching photos, videos or accounts related to your search query. There is also a “More Options” which lets you access advanced search options. Users can also save searches and embed search results on your website.
Previously, users can only choose top tweets or all tweets. Now all tweets option has been replaced with Live tweets heading. At the left side bar, it also shows related search terms for few searches. Overall the new search page is better and lets you find content on twitter easily.
Twitter is now focusing on making its micro-blogging platform better for users. Recently, it was reported that users are losing internet to Twitter. So, Twitter is working hard to add more features to make this platform social. This is why, it improved its messaging platform. it also revamped the design and added the compose tweet option at the top of the page, very similar to Facebook.
