Sony Xperia M4 AquaSony has launched its new mid-range smartphone Sony Xperia M4 Aqua in India at a press event in Delhi. This smartphone was originally announced at MWC 2015. It is priced at Rs. 24990. It is now available in India starting today.

Sony Xperia M4 Aqua features a 5 inch HD display with Scratch-resistant glass. It is powered by a 1 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Company also demonstrated its multi-tasking with small apps floating above the other apps. It features a 13 megapixel rear camera with Exmor-R CMOS image sensor and LED flash. It also has a 5 megapixel front camera with 88-degree wide-angle lens. Company also demonstrated how the camera works good in low-light condition. It comes in 8 GB and 16 Gb storage models with microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32 GB.

It is packed with 2400 mAh with STAMINA mode which claims to offer 2 days battery life in average usage. It offers 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB and GPS connectivity. It is IP65 and IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. Company also demonstrated the water resistance feature by putting the smartphone in a water bowl.
