Google acquires Timeful to power Google Apps

Timeful appGoogle has just announced that it has acquired smart calendar and scheduling app maker Timeful. Timeful also confirmed the deal on its homepage.

Timeful uses its smart algorithm to analyze your calendar events and helps you in prioritizing tasks. It also learns your habits and schedule, then automatically prioritizes and allocates your important tasks around your free time. It launched iOS app last July but it couldn’t launch Android app till date. Timeful team will now work on Google Apps to integrate their algorithm. Soon, you will see Timeful apps features on Google’s existing apps and services.

Timeful app will still be available. But it also allows users to export data out of it. If you are an existing user, you can use read instructions.

“Today we’re excited to announce that Timeful, Inc. is joining the Google family to help make getting things done in your life even easier,” posted in its blog.

“We’re excited about all the ways Timeful’s technology can be applied across products like Inbox, Calendar and beyond, so we can do more of the work for you and let you focus on being creative, having fun and spending time with the people you care about,” he added.
