Gmail app’s new update makes it easier to find past conversation and information about a contact

GMail LogoGoogle has pushed a new update to its Gmail app which brings few UX changes and improvements in the way you find contacts. This update makes app more user friendly.

Now just tap on avatar to see contact details of the person, recent conversations, Google+ posts, photos, recent places and more. This makes it simple to find information and conversation of a contact.

Google has also improved the way you use other email addresses with Gmail. Now the process for adding alternate accounts is smoother. Google says that adding non-Gmail addresses (IMAP) is now more reliable. So, you can use your business email address in Gmail to manage it along with your Gmail app.

The update is being rolled out gradually. It is now available for everyone yet. You can download it from the Play Store once the update available.
