Facebook has finally added GIF support

GIF FacebookFinally biggest social networking website Facebook has added the GIF support.

You only need to add the link of GIF from any GIF hosting website and then share. Facebook will show animation on its platform. GIF will not play automatically. It will show GIF label for GIF animation shared on its platform. Clicking on GIF will play it.

It is worth to mention that GIF uploaded on Facebook will not work. SO, you will have to share it using link of any other website hosting the GIF.

GIF is in trends and there are various websites which share content with GIFs. Users like to share GIFs on social media. There are various Tumblr blogs sharing GIFs. So, users were asking Facebook to add GIF support. But it never responded. Last year, Giphy made a work around that allowed users to share GIFs hosted on Giphy as video on Facebook. Now, it is possible just to share GIF link to share the animated image.
