Adblock Plus adsFor years, Desktop users were use Adblock Plus to hide ads in websites they are browsing. Now, Adblock plus has made its way to mobile devices with a new Android browser.

Adblock Plus Developers have launched a browser for Android in Beta. You need to sign up to ABP’s Google+ community to download this beta version of the browser. Google takes some time to review app, so app is not available in Play Store. But it will be there soon. This browser is basically Firefox 37 with adblock plus installed. It comes with same look and feel. But you will not be able to install other add-ons or use sync feature of Firefox.

This is not the first time when company tried something for mobile users. It already launched an add-on for Firefox for Android but it has some limitations. It can only block ads over http. Adblock plus for android app was also launched but it was kicked out of Play Store due to “Interference with another service of product.” So, company decided to launch a browser.

Adblock Plus also revealed its future plans to improve this browser. It also confirmed to launch a new browser for desktop with built-in ad blocking capabilities.

Availability of this new browser will surely add heat to ad blocking debate. Due to the use of adblockers, online publishers are facing lots of troubles. Most of the online publishers are dependent on the ads revenue. Adblockers are the primary reason for the drop in the revenue. As a publisher, I also do not recommend use of adblocker on all the website to access. You should disable it on those websites which offer good content for free and do not  annoy you with too many ads.

What do you think about this new browser? Are you going to use adblock plus browser? Share your views with us via comments.
