Android appsNot all apps available in Google Play are family friendly. This is the reason parents do not want their kids to install new apps without their permission. So, Google has announced a new program called Designed for Families which lets developers label their apps as family friendly.

Developers will have a choice to participate in this program. Apps from participating developers will be eligible for family focused program of Google Play.

Google didn’t confirmed the requirements to pass this program and achieve family-friendly label on Google Play. But we can assume that apps should be appropriate for 10+ audience and must comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection rule.

This label will help parents in finding family friendly apps easily. And they can feel comfortable after giving the device to their kids.
