Installation: Like other Android apps, install AMC security app from Play Store. Open Play Store and search for “AMC Security.” Check for the entry “AMC Security – Antivirus Clean” by IObit Mobile Security. Install it in your device.
First Look: You will see this screen when you open the app from where you can perform tasks. It has a big Scan button with other options. It offers Antivirus, Payment Guard, Security Zone, App Manager, Phone Booster and more features. Tap on More features to get access to other options including Call/SMS blocker, battery saver, Anti-theft, cloud backup, game speeder, privacy adviser and privacy locker. There are so many features this app offers. This app also offers giveaways option from where you can grab free games and apps.
Clicking on Scan button starts scanning the device and in few seconds, it will show you the scan result and asks you to clean the junk data.
Antivirus:
To scan your device against various security threats, use Antivirus option. It also offers real-time protection and keeps its virus definition database up to date. It scans all the app and reports if it finds it malicious.
Payment Guard:
This feature is only available for pro users. It is very useful for those who have habit of saving card details in mobile apps and use their smartphone for online payments. Payment guard prevents third-party apps from accessing your payment security codes and keep your online payments safe.
Security Zone:
This is the internet security feature which protects you from malicious websites. It has free and pro features both. In free version, you will get only protection from malicious websites. Anti-theft
It also offers Anti-theft protection feature which lets you locate your device. To use this feature, you need to create iObit account. You can login on IObit website and locate your device. Location accuracy of the app was impressive. You can also ring an alarm on the device direct from website. In this case, smartphone cannot be shut off, muted, or the volume turned down. If you just lost your device, you can easily track it via this feature. You can also swipe data of your device from web account.
Cloud Backup:
Cloud backup feature lets you backup your contacts and call logs.
Other features
It also have few other good features like Privacy Advisor, Battery Saver, Game Speeder, Phone booster and app manager. You can use this features if needed.
My Verdict:
This app is similar to available antivirus apps and offers good features. Not only security, it also offers privacy and booster features. If you are searching for a good antivirus and internet security app for your smartphone, you can go with this app. Free version of app offers good feature but we always recommend to go with pro license. If you care about your security. Pricing of the app license is also cheaper as compared to other popular security apps available for Android devices.
