Since the time of foundation, Facebook came across with many major changes. It is trying to update itself with its users need. One year ago Facebook acquired the messaging service WhatsApp. Now, the Facebook is ready with new features in its ‘Facebook for Android’ app which includes the first major integration of WhatsApp.

This new feature of Facebook app added a ‘Send’ button with WhatsApp icon. This button is the part of status action buttons which appears with each status updates. This new ‘Send’ button appears on the right side. This feature is there in the most recent version of the Facebook for Android app. This button lets you share a Facebook post with your WhatsApp friends and WhatsApp groups.

This is the first and important step by Facebook towards connecting the two platforms; one is Facebook, a social networking app and other WhatsApp, an instant messaging service in order to take over the market of messaging.

According to recent reports, teams are already working towards this integration of two platforms. The testing of this feature has begun and soon available in new version of Facebook App. In coming days, more users will be able to see this new send to Whatsapp button.

Last year in Februarys, WhatsApp has 700 million monthly active users and it was acquired by Facebook for over $20 billion.
