Cab booking startup Ola has launched food delivery service called Ola cafe. It claims to deliver best food within 20 minutes.
Ola cafe food delivery service is currently available in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi and Mumbai. And company also confirmed the localities of these cities where the food delivery is available. So, you need to check if the service is available in your area. This is just a start, we can expect the expansion of the service to cover more areas and cities in coming months.
And there are timing restriction too.

| Dinner | 7:00 PM to 11.00 PM |

Ordering food is simple and it automatically detects your location. You can pay via Ola money of by online transaction. When delivery boy is near your location, he will call you to know the exact home address for delivery. It means you cannot order food for some other.
It is worth to mention that partial payment from Ola money and rest from cash is not possible. You need to pay full either via Ola money or cash. You can also cancel your order before it is delivered by calling at 080-44050055.
Recently Zomato also started food delivery. Uber also has the similar food delivery service in few countries. It will be interesting to see how Ola managed to get customers for its food business.
