Micromax has launched a new smartphone Micromax Canvas Juice 2 in its canvas series of smartphones. This smartphone is priced at only Rs. 8999. This smartphone will be available via online retailers and offline stores from Thursday. This smartphone is already listed on eBay for Rs. 9100. This smartphone is the successor of Micromax A177 Canvas Juice which was launched back in March 2014.
Micromax Canvas Juice 2 features a 5 inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor but chipset was not confirmed. It features a 2 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage and microSD card slot. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It has a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2 megapixel front camera.
Connectivity features of the smartphone are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, and Micro-USB. It is packed with 3000mAh battery which claims to deliver up to 9 hours of talk time and up to 435 hours of standby time.
