Karbonn announced that soon it will be launching powerbank and screen guard with its new Mobile Accessories division. Karbonn will aggressively price these accessories to capture Indian market.

Karbonn’s powerbank will come in three different battery capacities: 5000mAh, 7000mAh and 10000mAh. These powerbanks will be available via Snapdeal starting March 25. Karbonn claims that its next generation powerbanks are safe, light and compact and have high power density.

10000 mAh powerbank is a multi-functional devices which has a LD torch, card reader,  dual charging ports and LCD display for indicating power capacity.

Screen guards will be available under “Ultra Clear” brand and these are specially customized or Karbonn devices. These comes with anti fingerprinting coating for smooth operation and high touch sensitivity. These screen guards will be available via offline and online retailers across the country.

Commenting on the launch of Mobile Accessories Vertical, Mr. Shashin Devsare, Executive Director of Karbonn says, “The increasing mobile adoption in India has given an impetus to the demand for mobile accessories market which is burgeoning rapidly. Currently, the accessories market is dominated by grey market products which impact the functioning and efficiency of the device. The move towards expanding our product portfolio to include mobile accessories is aimed at offering the consumer the choice of technologically superior mobile auxiliaries which are affordable. We are highly optimistic about the growth of Karbonn’s accessories vertical and expect it to touch 100 crores by the end of FY 2015-2016.“

Xiaomi Powerbank were launched few months back in country and received good response. Will all these interesting features, Karbonn’s multi-functional powerbank will surely give tough competition to other available powerbanks.
