WhatsApp Web client now works on Firefox and Opera browsers

WhatsApp launched a web client almost a month back. But the access was limited only to Chrome browser. Now, company confirmed that users can access WhatsApp for web via Opera and Firefox browsers.

WhatsApp desktop service only works with Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry devices. iPhone users can now use this because of API restrictions. Users need to scan QR code to access WhatsApp web client for desktop. And you can only access your WhatsApp account via this web client until your smartphone is connected to the Internet.
