Almost one year after announcing to add voice calling feature, finally this feature has been added to WhatsApp. Few days back, we also reported that this feature is almost ready and will be available in next few months. Now, a Reddit user pradnesh07 has posted the images showing voice calling feature of WhatsApp.

Voice calling feature is available in latest version of WhatsApp which is available to download from official website.

WhatsApp voice calling

The feature is very simple to use. When you open the conversation of a contact, you will see phone icon at the top. Tapping on this will allow you to make a phone call to that user.

New update adds tabs in the WhatsApp home screen to access calls, chats and contacts. As per the claims, this feature will only be activated when someone using this feature will make a call to you. So, this can be seen as an invite feature. You will be invited to use this feature if you receive a call from the user who is already using the feature.

Another Reddit user revealed how to use this feature without invite. But this way needs the root privileges.

I will update this post if I get more interesting information about this new feature.
