Now Facebook Tracks Your Activities On Other Websites By Default

Many times Facebook faced trouble because of its privacy policy. But still, we find so many things not good for our online privacy. Although, most of the people never care about the privacy policy on the social network. But Facebook always try to make it clear and simple to avoid any problem.

Now, Facebook has again changed its privacy policy. This new change allows social network to track your activity on Internet. Facebook will be able to know what website you visit and what action your perform on other websites. Facebook announced this back in November 2014 and now this tracking has been activated to all users by default. But Facebook didn’t send emails to users while it promised to notify users about the activation of this tracking. None of the users have received the emails stating the changes made in privacy policy about the tracking.

Facebook can now track all your activities on Internet. It can read your browser cookies to know what websites you visit. This data will be used for interest based advertising.

How to opt out of Interest based advertising?

Although this feature has been enabled to all users by default, you can opt out of this. You can use  Digital Advertising Alliance in the USA, Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada in Canada or the European Digital Advertising Alliance in Europe. But for India, we have nothing that can offer you opting out of this tracking. But you can check the companies are tracking your activities.
