It seems that Motorola has slashed the price of its entry level smartphone Motorola Moto E in India. Now the smartphone is available for Rs. 5999 only via Flipkart. It was earlier available for Rs 6999. There is no official announcement about this but smartphone is now available on Flipkart for lesser price.

Motorola Moto E was launched in India last year in May and is only available via online retailer Flipkart. Like Motorola Moto G, it was also a big hit in India.

Motorola Moto E features a 4.3 inch qHD display with 960×540 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor with 1 GB RAM. It has 4 GB internal storage and microSD card slot to expand storage. it features a 5 megapixel rear camera but it lacks front camera. It has 3G, Wi-FI, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB connectivity features. It is packed with 1980 mAh battery.

This price cut was expected because there are many other smartphone in Indian market which offer better specifications at this price. Huawei Honor Holly and Redmi 1S are the most preferable choice of customers in India at this price segment. And both these smartphone comes with front camera and better hard specifications than Motorola Moto E.
