People Sense

A leak confirms that Microsoft is working on a new location sharing app ‘People Sense’. This app will soon hit the Windows Store. This app works similar to Apple’s Find My Friends. It lets users share their location with friends in real-time.

Spanish blog Microsoft Place discovered this app found that app is currently in active development. People Sense will allow Windows 10 users to select a group of trusted contacts and then share the location with them. This app is also expected to have the third-party app integration to let other apps access the sharing data.

This app will also offer messaging to the contacts near you. If a user is around your location, it will pop a conversation Window.

The basic features of People Sense include:

  • Share your location in real time with your trusted contacts.
  • Integrated messaging and calling application.
  • Integration with navigation applications step by step drawing paths to your contacts.
  • Integration with your favorite places to show like “home” or “work”
  • New features to be added before leaving the store.

There is no confirmation about the official launch of the app. At this time, the app is very basic and in active development. We cannot guess when the app is going to hit the store. So, wait for the official launch of the app for more info.
