Huawei has launched a new metal-clad smartphone Huawei C199S in China for CNY 2,299. This smartphone is already up for sale via its online store Vmall in China. There is no information about the global availability of the smartphone. This smartphone is said to be the successor of Huawei C199 launched last year.
Huawei C199S comes with powerful hardware specifications. It is powered by a 1.5 Ghz 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 (MSM8928) processor and runs on Android 4.4 kitkat with EMUI 3.0 skin at top. It features a 5.5 inch HD IPS display. It has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. It also has microSD card slot to expand storage up to 32 GB. It features a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front camera. It comes with 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and GPS/ A-GPS connectivity features. It has 3000 mAh battery.
