Today, Google released its cloud security scanner in beta. This scanner can test web applications to find security vulnerabilities in it. This is not the first cloud security scanner, but Google claims that it is more effective.
Google says that other cloud security scanners are not well suited for Google App Engine and have more tendency to report false positive. Setup of other tools are also complicated. So, Google came up with an easier solution.
Google also said that this scanner supports JavaScript heavy apps and can easily detect Cross Site Scripting vulnerability.
App is currently in beta and company confirms to add more features in coming days. If you want to try, you can signup now.
