Xiaomi starts rolling out MIUI 6 update for Mi 3 in India

As promised, Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 8 update for MI 3 smartphones in Indian market. This is an OTA update and will automatically reach your smartphone. You can also check if the update is available for your smartphone.

Update is very big in size (Approx 540 MB). This new update brings improvements like better notifications, improved security, enhanced email app, UI improvements, improved camera app and more.

Xiaomi is also expected to release same update Redmi Note 4G smartphone next weekend India. Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3G version will also get MIUI 6 in early March.
