Twitter launches group messaging, video capture and sharing

Twitter has added group direct messaging to its service. So, you can send messages to more than one personal at a time directly via Twitter.

Twitter group messaging will be rolling out to all users next few days. You can start group chat with any of your followers but those individuals do not have to follow each other to be included in your chat.

Like normal messages, you will receive notifications when you will be added to group direct messages.

Few days back, Twitter gave a hint that it want to make Twitter a replacement of messaging services like Messenger, WeChat and WhatsApp.

Twitter also introduced a video capture feature for iOS app. This feature will also be available for Android in coming days. This video capture feature lets users shoot video, edit and share. You can capture video up to 30 seconds and video thumbnails will appear on the Twitter feed.

Twitter already have video sharing service Vine which lets users share 6 seconds videos.

This feature will also be available for users in coming days.
