Motorola confirms Android Lollipop

After multiple soak tests, finally Motorola has started rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Moto G smartphones in India. Update is available for both first and second generation of Moto G smartphones. Company is pushing Android 5.0.2 update to phones. Update is being released in phased manner and will reach you within next few hours of days.

This is the OTA update, so you will automatically get notification to update your phone. If you want it right now, you can check manually by going to Settings > About Phone > Software update.

This new update brings material design, improved notifications, new interruption and downtime settings, multitasking UI, smart lock and various new features. Here’s the detailed change log for Moto G (2013) and Moto G (2014) smartphones.
