RIngo voice calling app

Directi has launched its voice calling app called Ringo. This new app lets users make international calls without Internet, Wi-fi or carrier. It also claims that call rates are 70% lower than telecom companies and 25% lower than credit based VoIP companies offer. Ringo was launched globally back in May 2014 in 16 countries.

If we compare the pricing, US calling on Ringo costs Rs. 1.08 per minute while Skype charges about Rs. 1.45 per minute and telecom companies charge around Rs. 8 per minute.

Ringo app is available for Android, Windows phone and iOS devices. Once downloaded, users can make international calls. This app first dials a local call to the user in India and another call to overseas user and connects the two over reliable carriers. Ringo routes calls through telecom operators and hence offer better voice quality. You first call on Ringo will be free.

Ringo users need to create an account with an amount ranging between Rs.25 and Rs.250. Just like pre-paid connection, users can add cash to Ringo app for making international calls. It supports Internet banking, debit cards and Credit cards. This credit will be valid for a year.

Try this app and share your experience with us via comments.
