ASUS ZenFone Zoom with 3x optical zoom Announced at CES

Along with Zenfone 2, Asus has also announced Asus Zenfone Zoom at CES 2015 in Las Vegas. This is the latest camera focused smartphone from the company. It offers similar specifications as in Zenfone 2 but with enhaced camera for heavy photography users.

Asus Zenfone zoom

Asus Zenfone Zoom features a 5.5 inch display with full HD resolution. It is powered by quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom processor and runs on Android Lollipop with Zen UI at top.

It has a 13 megapixel rear camera with 3x optical zoom and optical image stablization. It also has manual mode which lets you control white balance, exposure, ISO, shutter speed, focal point and more. It has laser based auto focus. At the back, camera looks similar to what we saw in Lumia 1020. Asus also claims that this is the slimmest smartphone to offer 3X optical zoom. It also has a 5 megapixel front camera.

The ASUS ZenFone Zoom will be launched sometime in the second quarter of 2015 for the price of $399.
