Asus has announced its latest budget smartphone Asus Zenfone C (ZC451CG) in Malaysia. It has similar specifications as in Asus Zenfone 4 (A450CG). Specifications of the smartphone were leaked last month.

Asus Zenfone C features a 4.5 inch IPS display with anti-fingerprint coating. It is powered by a dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with PowerPR SGX544 GPU. It is packed with 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage and microSD card slot to expand storage up to 64 GB. It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat ZenUI. It features a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera. It comes with connectivity features like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It is packed with 100 mAh battery.

It comes in Black, White, Red colors. It is priced at RM 349. We have no details about global roll out of the smartphone.
