Microsoft just launched its affordable 4G smartphone Nokia Lumia 638 in India. It is priced at Rs. 8299 only. This smartphone was originally introduced back in June this year in China.
Pre-booking of the device will start on December 17 via Amazon.in. This smartphone will be available via Microsoft brand store. It also comes with Airtel data offer in which users will get up to 5 GB of free data on 4G for 2 months for Post-paid customers in Bengaluru. This offer is valid until March 31, 2015
Nokia Lumia 638 features a 4.5 inch FWVGA display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Cyan update. It has a 5 megapixel rear camera without flash and lacks front camera. It is single SIM smartphone. It has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB interna storage. It also has a microSD card slot to expand storage up to 128 GB. It offers 4G LTE connectivity. Other connectivity feature are 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and GPS / aGPS. It is packed with 1830 mAh battery.
It supports TD-LTE Band 40 for India that works with Airtel. It also supports various other LTE bands.
