Once bankrupt in 2012, Kodak is all set to enter into smartphone and tablet market. Kodak has announced that it is partnering with Bullitt Group to unveil new range of smartphone and tablets at CES event in January.

As per company announcement, smartphone will be for those consumers who want a high end device but are not comfortable with complicated functions. As we know Kodak as camera company, smartphone will offer good image capture, management and sharing features.

Kodak will not manufacture these devices. But Bullitt group will be making these devices for Kodak.

“Kodak is one of the world’s most recognisable brands. It is trusted by consumers as a marque of quality and innovation,” says Oliver Schulte, CEO Bullitt Mobile. “We’ve taken that heritage and used it to inspire a range of beautifully designed devices that will let users take great pictures and edit, share, store and print them in an instant.”

Kodak will launch the smartphone first. Tablet and connected camera will come later in second half of 2015.
