Facebook has update its search feature and makes it easier to find posts that have been shared with you. So, you can easily find posts by keywords along with Facebook’s graph search powered search. But, if you want to search using phrases like “My friends who visited Lucknow,” you can still do.

This is the most requested feature users were asking since the day Facebook rolled out Facebook Graph back in January 2013. In September, Facebook confirmed that it will bring the ability to search for public posts even from people they don’t know. But after testing on few users, Facebook got to know that people are only interested in finding posts from people they know.

Facebook's Graph Search

And seriously this was an important feature Facebook has been missing since the rollout of Graph search. daily, we see hundreds of storied on our news feed. But what if you want to find it again. You will have to go to that person’s wall and go back in time to check it again. This is why users were asking for a simple search.

Facebook’s new updated search offers “personalized and unique” search to each user. If you are not connected to a person. you will not be able to find his/her posts even if posts are public.

These updates have started been rolling out to US English on iPhone and desktop. Nothing about Android or global roll out was confirmed.
