Xiaomi has launched its much awaited Xiaomi Redmi Note in India at an event in Delhi. This smartphone is priced at Rs. 8,999 and will be available via Flipkart starting December 2. This smartphone was announced in India back in July for Rs 9,999. Flipkart will follow the same flash sale method just like it used for Xiaomi Mi 3 and Redmi 1S to sell this smartphone too. Registration for the first flash sale will begin tomorrow, November 25th at 6PM.
Xiaomi redmi Note features a IPS display based on One Glass solution technology. Display offers 178 degree wide viewing angle. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor with Mali 450 GPU. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with MIUI v5 on the top. It is packed with 2 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. It also has a microSD card slot to expand storage up to 32 GB. It features a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front camera. Connectivity features of the smartphone are 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
