Snapdeal is competing with Amazon and Flipkart who have massive amount of money to spend on marketing and infrastructure. Snapdeal is still trying to make its position. Recently, it raised $650 million to make its position better in market.

Saavn is also in very similar condition. It is facing tough competition from Gaana.com.

Saavn launched its pro service last year which costs Rs. 220 per month. In this pro service, it offers ad-free music streaming and offline playback. Saavn claims to have 1.1 million songs. New York-headquartered Saavn, Saavn was founded in 2007.

Android users accounts for around 90% smartphone market in India. So, it will certainly help Snapdeal. And if we see it from Saavn’s view, it expects few of those users to continue pro service after experiencing it for 2 months for free.
