French startup Prynt has developed a new smartphone case that can print photos taken from smartphone camera instantly. This smartcase comes with a built-in printer and can print the selfie or any other photo taken from camera in less than a minute. You will feel like having a Polaroid camera.
This works in very simple manner. You only need to connect this case to your smartphone. Then snap a picture and take the print. Printer inside the case connects with smartphone via Bluetooth and prints photos by heating paper filled with ink. Current version of the Prynt takes around 50 seconds to print a photo and can only hold 1 paper at a time. But company is trying to improve the device. They have planned to make the consumer version which will hold 10-30 sheets of papers. They are also working to improve the printing time.
Prynt team began their work earlier this year and we can expect the first consumer version next year in January 2015. It will cost $99. As of now, they have designed the case for the 4 inch smartphone. But they have already planned covers for larger devices as well.
