Google has announced a new feature for hangouts to make it more useful for users. Now users can share Drive files within Hangouts conversations without leaving the conversation window.

So if you are on a video call with your friend, you can directly share a file without leaving the conversation window. Just find the option in the chat box at lower corner. Sharing a file in conversation will share the link of the file along with the inline preview in conversation.

This is very helpful for those who use Hangouts video calls for business meetings. Friends can also use this feature to share photos and assignments while discussion on some topics. With inline preview of the documents, you can easily discuss on the topic.

This update is being rolled out gradually and will take few hours in reaching to all users. So Next time when you are on a video call, do not forget to try this new feature.
