Lava Mobiles has launched its new selfie focused smartphone Lava Iris Selfie 50 for Rs. 7999 only. The smartphone is now listed on official website. It will join company’s existing selfie smartphone Lava Iris X5.

Lava Iris Selfie 50 has a 5 inch HD display. It runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor. It features a 8 megapixel autofocus rear camera with dual LED flash and BSI-II pixel architecture. It also features a 5 megapixel autofocus front camera with flash support. It has 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage (6+ GB user available) and microSD card slot to expand storage up to 32 GB.

Connectivity features of the smartphone are EDGE/GPRS, 3G, Wi-Fi, 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and a-GPS. It is packed with 2400 mAh Li-Polymer Battery which claims to give 12 hours of talk time and 240 hours standby time.
