Google India has confirmed the dates for “Great Online Shopping Festival” (GOSF). This event is scheduled from 11th to 12th December.

Rajan Anandan, VP & Managing Director, Google India, said, “Great Online Shopping Festival is India’s version of cyber Monday in the West and is an exciting platform to raise awareness and consumer adoption of online shopping in India.”

On this mega online shopping festival, more than 450 partners will offer their best deals for 72 hours this year. This year, you will also see some exclusive launches including Motorola Nexus 6. Few other brands including HP, Lenovo, Tata Housing, Karbonn, Van Heusen, Asian Paints will also bring some exclusive launches on this festival.

This year, godf.in will have a section of Rs. 299 with heavily discouted products and free shipping along with cash on delivery option. This section will have items from brands like Philips, Uber, JBL, Benetton, Alia Bhatt collection, EverPure water purifier and many other.

This initiative was first launched by Google in 2012 and has seen tremendous response. Most of the stored participated in this have seen 350 percent growth in daily sales. If we talk about last year’s gosf, 2 million users visited and 16 million users visited partner websites.
