Skype for Windows Phone 8/8.1 has been updated with a new drawing tool. This tool lets users draw images and then send it to their contacts. In this way, users can send personalized images to friends.

Skype Drawing toolTo use this feature, tap on + icon in chat and select ‘drawing’. The you can start drawing from scratch or add a picture to draw on it. You can also annotate a Bing map.

Along with drawing tool, Microsoft has also added few more features including sign in improvement, HD screen support and faster app resume. on Windows Phone 8.1, users can now automatically sign in using the Microsoft account linked to phone. Microsoft also suggested to link SKype account to Microsoft account. It will help you experiencing improved privacy, security and password recovery.

But the drawing tool is the main thing added in this update. It is really interesting and will surely make your conversation pleasent. It is worth to mention that this is the first feature which has been added to Windows Phone platform before Android or iOS. Company has not confirmed this feature for other platforms, but we can expect it to come on other platforms soon.
