Philips has announced its latest flagship smartphone in China. his smartphone is called as Philips i966 Aurora. It offers high end specifications and runs on Alibaba’s YunOS 3.0 mobile OS based on Android Opensource project. It is priced at 3699 Chinese Yuan (US$600 approx).

Philips i966 Aurora features a 5.5 inch Quad HD display with 2.5D arc glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 2.5 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor with Adreno 330 GPU.

Philips i966 Aurora  is packed with 3 GB RAM and offers 32 GB internal storage. It features a 20.7 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and Sony IMX220 Exmor RS BSI sensor. It also has a 8 megapixel front camera. Connectivity features of the smartphone include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It is packed with 3000 mAh battery.
