As per the NextBigWhat reporting, Tradus.com is in process to shut down its operation very soon. Yesterday, its CEO Mudit Khosla left the company. Tradus is a brand owned by Naspers, the parent company of Ibibo.

Yesterday, Ibibo group CEO Ashish Kashyap confirmed that Mudit has left the company but denied the rumors in a statement given to Medianama. He confirmed that you will see the new avatar of Tradus soon.

As per Ashish Kashyap’s statement, Tradus.com recently changed the business model from a location-based mobile marketplace to a ​fresh food & grocery e-tailer. It has added groceries vertical around four months ago strating from Delhi. In this service, users can order various groceries from its mobile app.

Ibibo parent Naspers is one of the biggest investors in Indian e-commerce industry. It has also invested in Flipkart. Other companies owned by Naspers are Redbus, OLX, PayU and Tradus.

Tradus.com was launched back in 2009. It acquired Hyderabad based BuyThePrice in 2013.
