Google has rolled out a new look for Google Docs, Sheets and Slides web app suites. The new homepage will present files in visual grid. It makes it easier to find a file and instantly start working on it.
Most recently documents will be available at the top. You can quickly create new files with l (+) button floating at the right bottom side. All these services can be accessed via links given below:

google.com/sheets
google.com/slides
For Google Chrome users, there is also a Google Chrome extension which lets them create files offline.
You will not see any instant changes in the look. Google confirmed that new home screens will be rolling out to everyone over the next couple of weeks.
