GE announces link connected LED light bulb controlled by Wink app
Yesterday, GE announced Link, a new affordable connected LED bulb which can be controlled from your smartphone. You can trun it on or off from your smartphone. The low cost connected Link LD lightbulb from GE has been priced less than $15. It will be available on pre-order on Monday June 30 from homedepot.com.
It is 60-watt replacement soft white LED bulb. It has a chip that can wirelessly connect to Internet and your smartphone via Wink app. Wink mobile app is available for iOS and Android both. With this app, you can turn on/off, schedule low/brightness and schedule on/off.

if you are out of your home and realize that kids left lights on upstairs, you can simply switch it off. By adjusting brightness, you can easily personalize the experience.
