Today at Computex press event, Dell has introduced its two new tablets named Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8. These tablets will run on the latest Android version 4.4 (KitKat). These will go on sale next month in US. Dell Venue 7 priced at 159$ and Dell Venue 8 is priced at 199$. Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 will be available in red and black color options. There was nothing said about the global launch at the press event.
Talking about the features, Dell Venue 7 has a 7-inch (1280×800 pixels) HD capacitive multi-touch IPS Display. It is powered by a Intel Atom processor Z3460. Talking about the photo clicking abilities, Dell venue 7 has a 5MP rear or back facing camera. It is also equipped with 1 MP front facing camera. Now lets come to the connectivity, Dell Venue 7 has Integrated LTE , WiFi 802.11 b/g/n,Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Other features include 1GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt memory that can be expanded with microSD card upto 64GB.
Now lets come to Dell Venue 8, It has a 8-inch FHD capacitive multi-touch IPS Display. It is powered by a Intel Atom processor Z3480. Talking about the photography, Dell Venue 8 has a 5 MP rear or back facing camera. It is also equipped with 2 MP front facing camera. About the connectivity, Dell venue 8 has Integrated LTE (Optional), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Other features include 1GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt memory and can be expanded upto 64GB via microSD card. The Battery backup of the tablet seems good as it has 4550 mAh battery. Both Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 has 4550 mAh battery.
