OneDrive Gets Bigger Thumbnails, Custom Covers and 3 More features

Microsoft has updated its OneDrive service with 5 new features to both the web and Android app. Microsoft claims that these features have been after reviewing users’ requests. You can check the new features on onedrive.live.com and latest OneDrive Android app.

OneDrive web app now has bigger thumbnails for photos and videos. Microsoft has also improved video playback in this update.

OneDrive automatically create the cover for your folders. You can also easily set the folder covers by selecting the photo you want. Click on Manage, and then selecting “Add as cover.”

You could already publish photos on OneDrive to Facebook. In this update, Microsoft has added the ability to publish OneDrive videos to Facebook.

Share OneDrive Video to Facebook

OneDrive lets you share individual files in a folder as a group. Now you can add more files in the already shared group. For this, navigate to the shared view, right click on the group and then select ‘Add’.

Android app has also received many new features. But these new features are only for the device with Android 4.0+.

  • Share files and folders by inviting people, sending a link, or sending files to another app.
  • Update View and Edit sharing preferences.
  • Select multiple files to download.
  • Move files and folders.
  • Sort files and folders.
