HTC has finally made available HTC Desire 816 in India. The smartphone is now available online in India for Rs. 24,450 via Flipkart. It was announced almost a month ago for Rs. 23,990. At the time of announcement, company promised to make it available within two weeks. But, HTC took more than 4 months in making it available in India.

HTC Desire 816 features a 5.5 inch touchscreen display. It is powered by a 1.6 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Quad Core Processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Although, Flipkart has not mentioned the Android version. It is packed with 1.5 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage, microSD card slot to expand storage up to 128 GB. It features a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. It comes with dual frontal stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers.

Conectivity features of the smartphone are Bluetooth, DLNA, microUSB, Wi-Fi and 3G. It is packed with 2600 mAh battery which offers 21 hours of talk time and up to 614 hours standby time.
