Twitter’s Vine had added a direct messaging feature. This new feature lets you send video messages to other users. This including both sending direct messaging channel and video clips. Friends can also reply directly with text or videos.
Users can send video messages to single user or multiple users simultaneously.
Notable thing is that Vine users can send video messages to non Vine users too. If other user is not on Vine, he will receive video as an SMS or email.
” We’ve watched the community come up with some clever ways to send videos to their friends as we’ve been working on this solution. Now you can privately send Vine videos and text messages to your friends. You can even send videos to anyone in your address book, even if they aren’t on Vine,” Vine announced in a blog.
To create your own Vine Message, select the new “Messages” option from the menu. Record the video and send it to friends. You can send this to multiple friends too. In your inbox, you will see two sections, one for friends and other for messages from others.
If you are Vine user and do not want to receive video messages from unknown persons, you can change the privacy settings to only receive private messages from added friends or followers.
This video messaging feature is now available for both iOS and Android.
