Popular messaging app WhatsApp has made it easier to stop notifications from groups. Now, you can mute WhatsApp group for up to 100 years (1 Century) in Android devices. You can not only mute groups but also hide notifications. This update is available on official website but yet to come on Play Store.
Previously you could only mute a Whatsapp group only for up to a week. But there was no option to hide notifications. Now you can uncheck the “Show Notifications” option to stop notifications from the group.
Along with this feature, WhatsApp has also added a camera icon next to text field. This lets you quickly send photo to a contact.
